What about database support?

I have installed smartASK and encountered problems with the progress bar and generated charts in the survey results section. When I try to use these features I get java errors. Did I miss something during installation?
In both the progress bar and the charts feature of survey results, smartASK generates dynamic images for display purposes. Under certain conditions, smartASK requires installation of the PJA library to generate these images. Those conditions are:
- you are running smartASK in a unix envirionment;
- you are not running XWindows; AND
- you are not running with java 1.4 or higher.
PJA is free software, but due to licensing issues, it cannot be included in the smartASK distribution. You may download it here:
You must install PJA independently, and then add a snippet of code to the configuration file for your servlet container. The snippet follows:

If you are running resin as your servlet container, you'll put the above snippet in the bin/httpd.sh file. The correct file will depend on your servlet container and installation details.
