1. How do I control who responds to my survey? How do I make sure that a respondent only takes the survey once?
   

   smartASK includes several methods of controlling access to surveys and preventing repeat survey submissions, including:

   • by IP address
   • authenticated username
   • custom cookies
   • email invitations
   • smartASK cookies
   
   
   
2. Can I send my survey via email?
   

   smartASK is designed to deploy surveys via the web, but the application does allow you to send customized email invitations to invite respondents to take your survey.
   
   

3. Is there a limit to the number of responses I can collect for a survey?
   

   smartASK does not impose any limit on the maximum number of responses to a survey. You may collect as many responses as the database and server may hold.

   Performance in some areas, primarily in generating reports, may be affected by the performance characteristics of the database.
